Kids Free Fishing Day
On Aug. 15, Roaring River State Park will have its annual Kids Free Fishing Day. Youth will have the opportunity to fish all day for free, and one section of the river will be sectioned off just for the youth. The river will be restocked periodically throughout the day.
Children ages 15 and under will be able to get their tags for the event for free from the park store on the evening of Friday, Aug. 14 and on Saturday, Aug. 15. There will be one section specially designated only for youth 15 and under to fish in all day long.
Come out to beautiful Roaring River State Park to connect with nature and watch the kids catch some fish.
